How to Make a Man Notice You: Get Him to Ask You Out on a Date

Have you ever wondered why some women always get what they want? The answer is pretty simple- they go for it! Gone are the days when women don't make a move and rely on fate to bring them closer to a guy they like. I'm not saying that you always have to make the first move but there are some ways on how to make a man notice you and get him to ask you out on a date without acting desperate. In other words, lead the man of your dreams to the same road you are in and make him want to score a date with you. If there's one thing I've learned over the years, men need encouragement, lots if it!

1.) Smile with your eyes and be approachable.

Be sincere when you smile at someone. A genuine smile instantly creates a pleasant start for the two of you. It establishes connection. Nothing will get you off to a good start but positive energy. Ask any man and he will tell you that a woman who smiles a lot is attractive. When you smile, you are sending the notion that you are friendly, approachable and pleasant. Nobody wants to date a grumpy woman who throws in scary glances at everyone in the room! Everyone wants to be around a happy, sunny person. Don't let your nerves ruin it for you by acting awkward and snooty when he is around. Be approachable and friendly so he won't be scared to come up to you. According to some experts, women who get approached the most often were not those who are the most attractive but those who seem approachable.

2.) Let him know you are interested in him.

This is rather tricky because it's so easy to go overboard but as long as you know how to draw the line between acting normal and being needy then you are most likely to score a date with the man you can't stop thinking about. Strike up a conversation with him but make sure that your timing is right. Learn how to listen and pay attention to what he is saying. Laugh at his jokes but be sincere. If he pitches a lousy joke, the most you can do is to act amused. Another thing that will keep the ball rolling is throwing a compliment here and there. Don't overdo it though because he might get the wrong signal and you'll end up scaring him away. If he tells you about the giant fish he caught in his trip last summer, you can say something like "Wow you must be a good fisherman! I haven't had the chance to go fishing but I would love to." This is a concealed way of telling a guy you'd love to go out with him. Next thing you know you are packing snacks for your fishing adventure with him!

3.) Be at your best.

If you want a guy to notice you and get him to ask you out on a date the last thing that you want to do is dress up sloppily. Men get attracted to women who look polished and "put together". Make the effort to look good. Choose clothes that compliment your curves. This does not mean though that you have to dress provocatively to catch a man's attention. Always dress appropriately for the occasion. Don't wear a tight-fitting top that shows off your cleavage in the office! Guys are not always drawn to women who show more flesh. If you want a guy to respect you, you have to earn it. It's also great if you can learn how to put on makeup and fix your hair. Don't overdo it because you might end up turning him off. Lastly, you can make a guy notice you by appealing to his sense of smell. Choose a perfume that is not overpowering. If you want to draw him closer, wear something that smells sophisticated, sexy and at the same time refreshing. Smell is such a powerful sense and if a man takes a whiff of a scent that he finds lovely, he will associate that smell with you and guess what, he will never forget you.
